Invention Evaluator at a Glance
Streamlined, Turnkey Analysis
Take all the guesswork and intensive research out of the equation with IE. You want to know which technologies have the most potential, and IE reports can tell you without the headache.
IE reports provide a detailed overview of the technical merits, IP position and market landscape of any new innovation. Furthermore, the analysis includes potential regulatory hurdles and industry partners.
Hundreds of universities and companies around the world use IE to efficiently find the commercial potential of their intellectual property. Most of our clients are returning customers, so you can try our reports with confidence.
We utilize many tools in our knowledge transfer activities, to understand the opportunity, technology landscape, prior art and market validation.
One of the key tools we use is the TekCapital’s Invention Evaluator report. This report gives the technology transfer office a very early indication of a technology’s potential for commercialization and justification to providing further resource to gather additional market evidence and network development for our license and spin out activities. It is an excellent indicator when deciding on resource allocation, initial companies in the field to approach and who else is patenting in the field. It is excellent value for money, on the go-no-go dilemma and has proved value for money in quickly establishing technologies that are likely to fail.

An entrepreneur that wants to benefit from UIP [university intellectual property] would traditionally have to network with individual universities, making relationships with their technology transfer offices. But today entrepreneurs and international organizations facilitate a near frictionless system of access to that wealth of information.
